Hang ten with Friends and the surfing community. We’ll be enjoying mocktails and mixed drinks like “Mermaid Tears” and “Cranberry Island Cocktail” to raise funds for Friends of Casco Bay’s clean water efforts.
While storms bring in the big waves, they also stir up a lot of dangerous debris and carry extra loads of pollution into the waters surfers love to ride. Maine Craft Distilling is helping us spread the word about stormwater pollution and how surfers and other folks can get involved.
Surf, Storms, and Spirits will be a perfect storm of community, change-makers, and celebration. Some highlights we’re looking forward to:
- Watching short surfing films.
- Maine Ocean Farms will be donating and shucking oysters!
- Raffle for sweet surf swag from Black Point Surf Shop and more.
- There’ll be bodacious sounds and bodies dancing and grooving (hopefully yours).
Doors open at 6 pm. Films begin at 6:30 pm. Good vibes last until 9:30 pm.
