We are excited to share that Jen has met the $5,000 fundraising goal for Paddle with a Purpose! We are deeply grateful to Jen for raising awareness of this incredible river and our shared connection to place.
Paddle with a Purpose is a community event highlighting the Presumpscot River, the largest freshwater source flowing into Casco Bay. Jen Deraspe, a Westbrook resident and Registered Maine Guide, will embark on a solo canoe journey from Bethel to Casco Bay—85 miles in eight days, May 5-13—to raise awareness and support for Friends of the Presumpscot River and Friends of Casco Bay. Her goal is to raise at least $5,000 to protect these vital waters. Learn more.
Proceeds go to Friends of the Presumpscot River and Friends of Casco Bay.
