Our Partners

Friends of Casco Bay is founding member of the Waterkeeper Alliance, an international environmental movement that safeguards our waterways.
The Casco Bay Estuary Partnership is devoted to protecting and restoring the water quality, and fish and wildlife habitat of the Casco Bay Ecosystem, while ensuring compatible human uses.
Friends of Casco Bay is a member of Maine’s Environmental Priorities Coalition includes 28 environmental, conservation, and public health organizations who have joined together around a Common Environmental Agenda. We represent over 100,000 members in Maine who want to protect the good health, good jobs, and quality of life that our environment provides for all of us.
Friends of Casco Bay is a proud member of MaineShare, which supports nonprofits that are working every day for the people and environment of Maine.
Marine Mammals of Maine is authorized by NOAA Fisheries under the Marine Mammal Protection Act to respond to and assist stranded marine mammals from Kittery to Rockland and is the only organization providing this service in that part of the Maine coastline.

Marine Mammals of Maine also manages the hotline service 1-800-532-9551 for all marine animal calls statewide.

Our goal is to handle boat donations, so that our partners can concentrate on their respective programs. With our expertise in managing donations, we hope to help other groups avoid the pitfalls that can easily plague a fledgling donation program. Donated boats are either put into direct use by an affiliate with a need for that particular boat, or they are put up for charter to help raise funds to support programs.
