Safelist us to stay up-to-date on Casco Bay

We use our Casco Baykeeper boat to collect seasonal data on the health of Casco Bay. In 2023, for the first time, we are partnering with Bigelow Laboratories to test for PFAS in the Bay. Make sure you hear about all of our exciting work like this by adding Friends of Casco Bay to your email’s safelist!

We know you love Casco Bay and want to stay up-to-date on our work. Please take 5 minutes to follow the directions below and “safelist” us to help ensure you always receive our emails.

“Safelisting” is tech-jargon for telling your email service – Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. – that you always want to see our emails. Email services can mistakenly block some messages or send them to your spam or trash folder. Even if you currently get emails from us, you may not be receiving all of our emails.

Safelisting Friends of Casco Bay will ensure our emails always end up in your inbox. You will also be helping other Friends of the Bay to see our emails, too. That’s because safelisting sends a message to email services that we are a reputable organization.

Below are safelisting instructions for some of the most common email services. If you do not see your email service below, you may be able to find instructions by Googling the name of your email service and the word “safelist.” You can also contact your email service and ask them to help you.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Development Director Sarah Lyman at slyman@cascobay.org.

Thank you for helping us and ensuring you are up-to-date with all things Casco Bay!

(If you don’t already get our emails, don’t worry! You can sign up, here).
