In 1989, concerned citizens formed Friends of Casco Bay after a report identified the Bay as one of the most polluted regions in the nation. Since then, we have used a science-based, community-oriented approach to improve the health of our coastal waters.

We are embarking on an important 10-year plan to monitor climate change in Casco Bay, and we want you aboard. We look forward to sharing more details with you at the event.

Our 30th anniversary celebration will include guest speakers and performers, the premiere of a short documentary film about our organization, and an overview of the vision for our work in the coming decade as we collaborate with our community to address and adapt to ocean climate change. We will share more information about this exciting and enlightening event in the coming months.

We are proud to have Knack Factory as  the producer of the film we are premiering at this event and to have them as a sponsor.
