Cathy L. Ramsdell, Executive Director
Cathy Ramsdell is a Certified Public Accountant and has served as Executive Director of the Island Foundation and Chief Financial & Operating Officer of the Island Institute. Before then, she did field research on seabird populations in Alaska, sea turtles nesting on Georgia beaches, and marine mammals in the Gulf of Maine, ran a retail business and worked in public accounting. She has served on and been a consultant to a variety of non-profit boards. Prior to joining FOCB in May 2003, Cathy had a consulting practice helping non-profits with financial and organizational development.
